Florida the No. 3 most expensive state to drive

Considering buying a car, or already own one? Driving can be costly in the Sunshine state.

Florida is the third-most expensive state to operate a motor vehicle at $2,516 annually, according to a new Bankrate.com report. The figure includes an average of $377 for car repairs, $1,015 for gas prices and $1,124 for insurance.

The national average is $2,223.
